Cleveland Cemetery lies on the south slope of a hill on the Bickleton to Goldendale highway.
Ripley Dodge, founder of the town of Cleveland, is buried here. Ripley formally laid out the town of Cleveland and operated a hotel there in the early 1800's. He also named the town Cleveland after his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.
