ELBERT AUTHOR HARVEY - 68
Elbert Author Harvey, 68, died at his home near Sanderson Monday after a long illness. Mr. Harvey was a life long resident of Baker County, being a member of one of the county's largest and most prominent families. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ollie Harvey; three daughters, Mrs Mattie Starling, Lake City, Mrs. Gracie Harris, Raiford, Mrs. Elizabeth Tackel, Jacksonville, four sons; Donald, Lev, Elbert Author Harvey, Jr. and Spencer Harvey, U.S. Army, two sisters; Mrs. Lebbie Dugger, Sanderson, and Mrs. Ada Roberts, Frostproof; a brother, G.C. Harvey, Glen St. Mary. Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday , at the grave in Cedar Creek Cemetery with the Rev. J.D. Williams officiating. The body was laid at rest at the home from 1:00 PM Tuesday until the funeral hour. Arrangements are in charge of Key-McCabe Funeral Home.
