Lillie Mae Garrett, age 80, of Hamilton, passed away January 20, 2009 at Mercy Fairfield Hospital. She was born in Hamilton on September 20, 1928, the daughter of the late William and Frances Moreland. On December 31, 1945 in Hamilton, she married the love of her life, Harold F. Garrett, Sr. Lillie was a member of the Princeton Pike Church of God.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Vicky S. Garrett, Gill (Charlotte) Garrett, Chris (Sheila) Garrett, Harold F. "Lee" (Sheri) Garrett, Jr. and Darrell Garrett; her 17 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren; her siblings, Norma Mills, Bill Moreland, Bert Moreland, Chuck Moreland, and Patricia Parrish. Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold F. Garrett, Sr., her daughter , Judy Hopkins, her sister, Wanda Moreland, her brother, Paul Moreland and her grandsons, Danny Ray Hopkins, Jr. and Christopher Garrett.
Visitation will be Friday at Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Ave. at South "D" St., Hamilton from 11:00 am-1:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Stewart officiating. Burial will follow immediately at Rose Hill Burial Park.
