On October 3, 1938 he married Alvena Fech. She survives. Other survivors include; sons Ronald Bham of Albuquerque, NM. and Daryl Bahm of Lincoln, Nebraska, daughter; Janeen William of Syracuse, Kansas, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church, Dighton with Rev. Warren Hett presiding. Burial will be in Dighton Memorial Cemetery. Boomhower Funeral Home, Dighton is in charge of the funeral. Memorials may be sent to the United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.

Reuben and Alvena (Fech) were married October 2, 1938 at Bazine, Kansas. Reuben was a member of the United Methodist Church of Dighton, he served on church boards and committees, was a past member of Alamota School Board, a past member of Township Board, Farm Bureau Board, and ASC Boarod. In 1986, Rueben was the recipent of Kansas Bankers Award.
Rueben attended Darr Creek County in Lane County. He was a lifelong farmer-stockman in Lane County and lived on the same farm for 72 years. His work was his hobby and loved raising wheat and cattle. He enjoyed playing cards and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Herman, Henry and John, six sisters, Emma Schneider, Barbara Hinkle, Neomi Rauer, Marie Schmalzried, Katie Kuehn and Amelia Neiman.
