DAISY HEAVINS

Funeral services for Daisy Heavins were Monday, Sept. 19. The Rev. Robert A. Tyce of the Mount of Olives Lutheran Church officiated at the Vase Funeral Chapel. Interment was in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Heavins, 79, of 1229 Main St., Reliance, died at 9:10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at her home.

A longtime resident of Reliance and Rock Springs, and former resident of Morrill, Neb., Mrs. Heavins died after a lengthy illness. She was born on June 3, 1909 in Wheatland, the daughter of the late Ed and Edna Gregg Prideaux. She attended schools in Wheatland and married Joseph Clyde Heavins in Gering, Neb., on July 12, 1926. Mrs. Heavins was a member of the Mount of Olives Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph, of Reliance; one son, Norman Heavins of Reliance, one daughter, Mary Lou Brunz of Rock Springs; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Heavins was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
