WILLIAM RICHARDSON OF BELGRADE IS TAKEN BY DEATH
Belgrade, Nov. 24 - Funeral services were held in Bozeman for William H. Richardson, 76, long-time resident here, who died recently. Masonic services were conducted in Sunset Hills cemetery.
Mr. Richardson was born in Milwaukee, Wis. He came to Belgrade 35 years ago. He served at one time as city clerk here. He spent his life in the mercantile business.
His wife died in 1923. A son, William, of Belgrade survives.

"Belgrade Resident Dies Here at Age of 76"
"William H. Richardson was Well Known Here"
"William H. Richardson, 75, long time resident of Belgrade, died shortly before 8 a.m. yesterday at Deaconess hospital. Death was due to infirmities of old age.
The deceased was born on July 27, 1870 at Milwaukee, Wis., and came to Montana where he had been a resident for the past 35 years.
He was at one time employed at the Owenhouse Hardware store in Bozeman and served in the capacity of Clerk and Treasurer of Belgrade.
His wife, Anna, died in 1923. He is survived by a son, William of Belgrade, one brother, Edward Richard, of Red Lodge, and four sisters; Mrs. Joseph Anderson and Mrs. Fritz Pehrson, both of Iowa, and Mrs. W. M. Boody and Mrs. Dell Fontaine, both of Texas.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p. m., from the Dokken Funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill cemetery. Masonic lodge No. 68 of Belgrade, of which Richardson had long been a member, will conduct graveside rituals."

Mrs. H. C. Cheever, organist, accompanied Mrs. Henry Moore who sang, 'Saved by Grace' and 'Sweet Hour of Prayer.'"
The ritualistic service was conducted by Belgrade lodge 68 A. F. & A. M.
Casketbearers were Whitfield Spain, Ed Stephensen, Charles M. Fisher, Fred M. Byrne, Roscoe Hull and H. S. Hecox.
Interment was in the Masonic section of Sunset Hills cemetery."

On page 338, the marriage record, No. 5, Palo Alto County, Iowa is the marriage record of William H. Richardson and Anna B. Hubbard. They were married on 27 Dec 1900 in Emmetsburg, Palo Alto county, Iowa by O.K. Maynard, Minister of the Gospel.
