She was the daughter of Matthew French, a Revolutionary War veteran and Sarah (Paine) French and the wife of Gen. Elisha McComas.

Annie died suddenly at her son William's house with a heart spell while sitting at the breakfast table.

Her monument has been destroyed. It appears to have been ran over by a mowing machine and is in many pieces. It is basically now gone.
