The Keenan - McComas Cemetery is actually more like just the Elisha McComas Family Cemetery. It is located on the farm of Gen. Elisha McComas who lived about a mile above Salt Rock along the Guyandotte River. The cemetery once contained many more monuments that were removed over the years and have been lost. Some were used to build steps for a house it was said. Patrick and Rebeccah Keenan's graves are all alone. About fifty feet away are the graves of her parents, Elisha and Ann McComas, the distance between once filled with more monuments.
