Connie C. Roberts' Rites Set Friday
Final rites for Connie C. Roberts, 57, of 101 Austinville Road, who died today at 4:40 a.m. at his home, will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. from Johnson’s Chapel.
The Revs. Jimmy Rodgers and Cabe Smith will conduct the services with interment in the adjoining cemetery, Brown directing.
Survivors include the wife, Mrs. Zula Roberts, Austinville; one daughter, Mrs. Jim Carlton, Ypsilanti, Mich.; one son, James E. Roberts, Flint, Mich.; three sisters, Mrs. Belle Rogers, Hartselle 2; Mrs. Joe Glenn, Austinville; and Miss Lula Roberts, Hartselle; two brothers, Cordy Roberts, Decatur; and Davis Roberts, Indiana; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Parks Glasgow, Laddie McDonald, Alvie White, Alvie White, Wilfred NeSmith, and Homer Murphy.
The deceased was an employee of Goodyear Decatur Mills until his illness.
