Mrs. Roberts Dies of Sudden Stroke
Mrs. Bettie Roberts, of Hartselle route two, died suddenly Sunday night at 7:15 o'clock at her home following a paralytic stroke. The deceased was 72 years of age and is survived by her husband, G. W. Roberts; three sons, Davis Roberts, C. D. Roberts, C. C. Roberts; three daughters, Miss Lula Roberts, Mrs. Hortense Glenn and Mrs. Ora Bell Rogers; 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning at eleven o'clock at Johnson's Chapel by Rev. Smith, of the Danville circuit. Interment will be made in the chapel cemetery, Drinkard and Howell directing.
Sons and grandsons of the deceased will serve as pallbearers and daughters and granddaughters will handle the flowers.
