Anna S. Steinlicht, 85, passed away at Power County Hospital following an extended illness. She was born in Anchor, Illinois a daughter of Andrew and Wiebke Ruther Stroh. She received her education in Illinois, then married August J. Steinlich, 1-20-1907 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Rural Anchor. They farmed there for a time, then came to the Aberdeen area and settled on a homestead in 1914. They later farmed west of American Falls before moving to town in 1925; Mr. Steinlicht passed away 12-17-1970..................
Survivors include three sons, Ernest and Robert, American Falls, and Elmer, Pocatello; three daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Lenore) Farwell, Wyoming; Mrs. Otto (Mabel) Hege, Aberddeen and Mrs. John (Ruth) Carlson, Pocatello. Also one sister, Mrs. Theresia Dalton, Wilmont, Wisc., 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and four sisters. Funeral services were Thursday at the Lutheran Church, Rev. Norman O. Landvik officiating; burial was in Fallsview Cemetery, under the direction of Davis Mortuary.
