REVEREND FOREST COMBS, 77, born in Beattyville, KY on April 28, 1931, went to meet his Lord on the morning of December 29, 2008, after surviving major heart surgeries and multiple strokes. He was the son of the late Leno Combs and Edna Barrett Combs and was the youngest of five children.
Forest is survived by his wife, Betty Combs, his children, Randall Combs (Wendi), Terri Alexander (Roger), Sherri Cox (Joe), Jay Combs (Stacy), Carol Sue Diaz, Mike Combs (Jean) and Eddie Maley; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for Reverend Combs will be conducted on Friday January 2, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at New Beginnings Church with Reverend Ulis Taylor, Reverend Coy Haney, Reverend Tim Hodge and Reverend James Aultman officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Thursday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral Home.
