DEATH NOTICE: The Manti Messenger, Friday 24 April 1896:
Sister Hannah Madsen, widow of Ole Madsen, departed this life on Saturday, April 18th, 1896. Funeral services over the remains were held in the Tabernacle on Tuesday afternoon. Sister Madsen was among the oldest residents of Manti, and had lived to a ripe old age. Her work on earth is finished and she has gone to receive the reward of the faithful.
