Dies At 49

John Harry Botelho, 49, of 320 A Evans St., died Wednesday in a Vallejo hospital after a short illness.

A native of Oakland, he was a Vallejo resident for 28 years. He was a materials expediter at the Mare Island Naval Shipyard, where he was employed 29 years.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Mr. Botelho is survived by a son, David Botelho of Vallejo; five daughters, Mrs. Joanne Haynes, Kathleen Botelho and Mrs. Pennie Vanderburg, all of Vallejo; Mrs. Beverly Carey of Kentucky, and Mrs. Janette Skidmore of Utah; parents, Joe of San Lorenzo and Mrs. Bella Reese of San Leandro; a brother, Gilbert of San Leandro; a sister, Mrs. Doris Richardson of Indiana, and seven grandchildren.

A Catholic prayer service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Colonial Chapels. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery. Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at the mortuary.
