In the words of his family, "Maury was a Christian and knew the Bible well. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Maury also liked to play cards and he loved animals. He was a kind, gentle person who enjoyed being with his family and friends."
Maurice was the son of Maurice NISLEY and Martha DeLARUELLE. He had two sisters and three brothers.
After graduating from Mishawaka High School in 1968, Maurice studied at Sam's Technical Institute in Indianapolis. He first worked as an auto mechanic. At the time of his death, he was working for an electrical and lighting contractor.
