On December 30, 1926, Adolph married Pearlee Burton, daughter of Edgar and Cora Burton. They bought a piece of land not far from Adolph's parents and raised their children there.
The couple had eight children: Jimmie Alfred, Josephine, A.W.; Barbara Jean, Wanda Lee, Jerry Dale, Herman William and Karl Burton.
Adolph died Jan. 21, 1951, one week before his older brother, Henry died.
