Armon S. Arnold 80 of Dudley died at his home Sunday at 4:45 p.m. Oct. 20, 1935.

He was the son of Paul and Mary Arnold and was born in Ohio April 13, 1855. He came to Wapello County as a small child and has made his home here since.

Surviving are his wife Jennie; five sons Paul and Richard of Dudley, Herbert and Arthur of Blakesburg, and Dewey of Bussey; on daughter Mrs. Kathryn Garnder of Eddyville; two brothers Grant Arnold of Denver, Colo, and Charles Arnold of Redwood City, Calif.; one sister Mrs. A. J. Stodgile of Dudley; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Two daughters preceded him in death.

Short services will be held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 1: 20 p.m. and to Columbia Church North of Dudley. Burial will be made in the Columbia Cemetery.
