Mark Allen Lickey, age 58, of Fulton, Missouri, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at his home after a long illness. He was born December 2, 1950, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, a son of the late E.D. Lickey and Juanita Barnett Lickey of Trenton, Missouri. On July 5, 1975, he married Beth Ann Borron, who survives at their home.

In addition to his mother and wife, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons, Jay Lickey and his wife Emily of Leavenworth, Kansas and Adam Lickey, his wife Leslie, and their children, Karis and Elijah Marc Lickey of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one brother, Nolan Lickey and his wife Ann of Orem, Utah, and their son Brian; brother in-law, Ron Borron and his wife, Judy of Bargersville, Indiana and their daughter, Sarah; father in-law, Van Borron of Macon, Missouri.

Mark was employed by 3M Corporation in Columbia, Missouri for 31 years. He was a member of the Millersburg Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. He was a devoted family man, avid outdoorsman, and genuine Christian. Therefore he trusted in 1Thessalonians 4;14, "We believe that Jesus died and rose again; and so it will be for those who died as Christians; God will bring them to life with Jesus."

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2009, at the Millersburg Baptist Church with Reverend Dennis Peterson officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, January 10, 2009, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment will be at the Millersburg Cemetery.
