THE PAWNEE CHIEF (Pawnee City, Nebraska)- Friday, March 6, 1903- Page 1.

PIONEER LAID TO REST
Lovable Christian Lady From Near Burchard Heeds Summons.
Died at the home of her daughter, Mary, on West Branch, Sunday evening, February 22d, 1903. Mrs. Ann Wilson, at the age of 72 years.

Funeral services were held at the house Tuesday at 10 a.m., conducted by Rev. Hull of Burchard, assisted by Rev. Duncan, of Pawnee.

Mrs. Wilson was born at Wishbech England, at which place she resided until 1854. In 1852 she was married to William Wilson, who was called to the heavenly home seventeen years ago. Seven children were born to this union, all of whom survive the parents.

Mrs. Wilson's life was characterized by purity and quiet power. She was a woman of strong character, possessing many commendable traits, faithful in the performance of every known duty, and a devout reader of God's word.

During the last year of her life she was a constant and severe sufferer, but through it all she was patient and submissive to the Father's will.

We wish to tender our sincere thanks to the friends and neighbors for the many acts of kindness, and the assistance and sympathy given during the sickness, death and burial of mother.
