Michael Minze, 63, of Burleson, a retired cabinet maker, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home.
Michael was born Oct. 22, 1945, in Fort Worth to R.Q. Minze and Eldridge Parnell. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Michael loved carving ducks out of wood and loved wood work in general. He also enjoyed horses, roping and just being a cowboy. Michael loved his family very much and especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tillie, Doyle and Wallace; and in-laws, Junior and Doris Connell.
