William Theo Mudd, 73, Star Route, St. Francis, died at 7:20 p.m., Nov. 19, 1989, at his residence.

Mudd was a native of Washington County, born Feb. 12, 1916. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Albert and Margaret Nalley Mudd.

Survivors include his wife, Gillie Ann Mattingly Mudd; one brother, Maurice Mudd of Louisville, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m., Nov. 22, 1989, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Raywick with burial in Lebanon National Cemetery. Rev. Clarence J. Schwartz officiated.

Pallbearers were Clyde Cecil, Bill Raley, Joe Thomas, Frankie Hall, Russell Sullivan and Billy Mattingly.

Prayer services were held at 8 p.m., Nov. 21, 1989, at Mattingly Funeral Home, Loretto. They were in charge of the
arrangements.
