Born Oct. 23, 1933 in DuBois he was a son of the late Miller and Evelyn (Zimmerman) Stewart.
He was married to Marilyn (Klingensmith) Stewart who preceded him in death on Dec. 5, 2003.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Ron was the former owner/operator of Glass Erectors, Inc. in Reynoldsville.
He was a member of the George D. Montgomery American Legion Post 17 of DuBois.
He was affiliated with the 1st United Methodist Church in DuBois and enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.
He is survived by three children: Robert M. Stewart, Richard R. Stewart and Tracy L. Stewart all of DuBois; he was the guardian of and is also survived by Barbara Horner of Reynoldsville; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister: Betts Shenkle of DuBois and one brother Jack Stewart of Dillon, CO.
In addition to his parents and wife he is also preceded in death by one brother Glenn Stewart.
Visitation will be held on Jan. 12 from 4-6 p.m. at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Jan. 12 at 6 p.m. from the funeral home with Pastor Assistant Edward Reich officiating.
Burial will be in Beechwwods Cemetery.
