Born to Leonard "Pete" Mershon and Virginia Eatherely Mershon, she had been a resident of Port Neches since 1946 and was a member of Lamplighter Baptist Church in Port Arthur.
She was a Port Neches-Groves graduate of the class of 1961 and a Life Master of Duplicate Bridge.
Preceded in death by her parents, survivors include her aunt, Angeline Simpson.
