Ann was the daughter of John Million, a tenant farmer on the estate of the Marquis of Ely, and Margaret Hamilton. The family lived in the townland of Leglehid in Innishmacsaint Parish. Her siblings were Patrick, Mary, John, Jane and James. Ann married Robert Kerr and they started a family in Ireland. Her sister Mary married Robert's brother, Thomas. In the early 1840's the two couples and their children emigrated first to Stoneham,Quebec and then to Colborne Township, Huron County, Ontario. The rest of the Million family also emigrated a few years later along with their mother, Margaret Hamilton Million, who died in Ontario in 1859.
Ann and Robert had 8 children: Jane, Andrew, John, Thomas, Margaret, Mary Ann, Elizabeth and Robert.
Ann died in 1879 and is buried in Colborne Cemetery.
