Avah L. Hash, 76, of Edinburgh passed away Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Hash was a registered nurse at Columbus Regional Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of Mount Olive United Methodist Church and loved to do embroidery work.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street with the Rev. James E. Hoppus officiating. Calling will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Monday. Burial will be at Old Union Cemetery north of Columbus.
Memorials may be made to Mount Olive United Methodist Church.

Born Dec. 29, 1932, in Tampico, Mrs. Hash was the daughter of Earl Roscoe and Cora Mae Waskom Beldon. She married Lonnie R. Hash May 4, 1950, in Tampico. He preceded her May 1, 1997.
She is survived by sons, Bradley (Angela) Hash of Edinburgh and Scot (Delia) Hash of Clifford; daughters, Lynda (Charles) Roberts of Edinburgh and Autumne (Brian) Hendricks of Columbus; sisters, Earline Cunningham of Sellersburg, Jayne Nierman of Lakeland, Fla., June (Raymond) Jones of Evansville, Sue Griffith of Edinburgh and Loretta (Leon) Hoevener of Brownstown; grandchildren, Rainan and Windy Hash of Clifford and Grant and Jake Roberts of Edinburgh.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Annamae Turner.

The funeral for Avah L. Hash, 76, of Edinburgh was Monday at Hathaway-Myers Chapel with the Rev. James E. Hoppus officiating. The Rev. Hoppus also was soloist.
Burial was at Old Union Cemetery. Pallbearers were Art and Greg Hoevener, Wiley Turner, Ron Cunningham, Sterling Burgdorf and Jeff Hoffman.
