Wayne Clifton Baker, age 88, of Lennon, MI, passed away December 30, 2008 at Rockwell Memory Care, Fenton, MI.

Wayne Baker was born in Lennon, Michigan on October 9, 1920, the son of George Washington and Lottie AE. (Davey) Baker. He resided his entire life in Lennon attending Forrest School in Lennon and the Lennon Methodist Church.
Wayne married Janet Hall on June 25, 1945. He worked for General Motors Corp. for 30 years, retiring in 1975. He and his wife did a lot of traveling with their travel trailer. Wayne also enjoyed fishing and playing his electric organ.
He was survived by his daughter Bonnie and Dennis Leyder of Linden, MI, daughter-in-law Lori Baker of Newnan, GA, 5 grandchildren; Robert, Bethany and Andrew Leyder of Linden, MI, Ryan and Meagan Baker of Newnan, GA and Aubrey Baker of Newnan, GA.
Wayne Baker was preceded in death by his parents, wife Janet Baker on February 14, 2000, his son Randy on March 29, 2008 and 4 brothers; Cecil, Floyd, Lyle and Earl Baker all of Lennon.
