George Norman Gray was the son of Stephen and Mary Flora Greenman Gray. He was first married to Nettie Leona Bloomer.Their daughter was Nellie Alice Gray Gragert (1904-2004) George Gray was born in Kendall,Illinios, raised in Kansas, lived in Randolph, Minnesota. Later he married Lydia Hoffman Brown. He was step-father to her seven children. They are both buried in the Lakeside cemetery,Dakota CO.Randolph,Minnesota. George Gray's father, Stephen Gray died on his way from Illinios to Dickinson CO. Kansas,on horse back..No record of Stephen Gray's death is found but a letter that was in his pocket was sent on to his wife, (George Gray's mother), Mary Flora Greenman Gray..she was waiting in Dickinson CO.Kansas with little George... George Gray's sister ,Edna Mary Gray Hamann was born after their father died.
