Cletes H. Fore, age 64, of Britton died Thursday, June 5, 2008, at home with his loving family at his bedside.

He was born Aug. 24, 1943, in Ashville, N.C., the son of Oscar and Glennie (Rector) Fore. He was married to Eileen Perry on Feb. 26, 1972, and she survives.

Cletes was employed by Ford Motor Company in Saline, retiring in 2000. He was a member of U.A.W. #892 and was an Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. Cletes enjoyed motorcycling, golfing and woodworking. He loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends and will be deeply missed by all.

In addition to his wife, Eileen, Cletes is survived by a son, Kyle (Amanda) Fore of Britton; a daughter, Kayla (Kyle) Brinkman of Bixby, Okla.; three grandchildren, Carter and Camryn Fore and Zachary Brinkman. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Barbara.

Visitation will be at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2008. The Funeral Service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2008, at the funeral home with Chaplain Steve Decker of Hospice of Lenawee officiating. There will be visitation on Sunday from 12 noon until service time. Interment will follow in Ridgeway Cemetery with full Military Honors under the auspices of the Tecumseh American Legion Post #34 and the Tecumseh VFW Post #4187.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee, Britton Education Fund or the charity of the donor's choice. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.handlerfuneralhomes.com.
