Mrs. Damiani was employed for several years in the assembly department of Alliance Manufacturing Co., retiring in 1978. Her husband, Joseph, died Feb. 10, 1974.
She was born in Cincinatti, Jan. 9, 1913, to Remiglio and Victoria Chanvillard Cononica and had lived in the Alliance area for most of her life. Mrs. Damiani was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Ladies of the Christopher.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Joyce) Parks of Aliquippa, Pa. and Mrs. Richard (Janet) Schuh of Homeworth; a sister, Mrs. Rose Pucci of Alliance; a brother, H. L. Canon of North Port, Fla.; and three grandchildren. Mrs. Damiani was preceded in death by a daughter, Geraldine; a sister, Mary Sherbondy; and a brother, Ernest.
