Parker, 59, of Sikes died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2000, in Lincoln General Hospital, Ruston.
He was a native of Sikes, a member of United Pentecostal Church and a logger.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth B. Parker of Sikes; two sons, Billy Joe Parker Jr. and Tony Landes Parker, both of Sikes; one daughter, Melody Ann Burnett of Dodson; his mother, Ella Parker of Sikes; one brother, James W. Parker of Bossier City; three sisters, Sue Dehn of West Monroe, Lynn Batson of Nampa, Idaho, and Fran Vines of Sikes; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jared Cox, Joseph Cox, Samuel Busby, Dennis Parker, Robbie Dehn and Kevin Vines.
Friends may call from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of service Thursday in the church.
