She is survived by one nephew, R.L. Guill of Herrin; 6 nieces and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and one sister.
Mrs. Smith and her husband had lived in St. Louis and Los Angeles, where he worked for the United States Government prior to moving to Jacksonville. She had worked at the Jacksonville Developmental Center in the Recreation Department and was a member of the Central Christian Church.
Services were entrusted to Williamson Funeral Home of Jacksonville, Illinois.
