Turner, Etta M., age 68, of Middletown, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at her residence. She was born May 28, 1940 in Stanton, KY to Jesse Franklin and Mamie Caroline (Centers) Roberts. Etta was a member of First United Methodist Church and a hairdresser for 39 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Brittany Nicole Turner and brother, Paul Roberts.
Etta is survived by her husband, James E. Turner of 50 years; children, James E. (Heidi) Turner and Sherry (Perry) Kemplin both of Middletown; 4 grandchildren, Courtney, Emily Turner, Cory and Casey Kemplin; brothers, James Charles Roberts of TN and Carl Dean Roberts of Carlisle; sisters, Ruby Ewen of Hunter and Jerry Lee Roberts of Cincinnati.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 3:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, 120 Broad Street, Middletown, Ohio 45044 with Rev. Dean Penrod and Rev. James Anderson officiating.
