She was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church and the Oak Ridge Women's Club. She was also an active member of the Covenant Health Fitness Program. In earlier years, she was active in Square Dance and Ballroom dancing clubs. While her children were in school, she participated in all their activities. She was very devoted to her family and home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Stella Perkins and a brother, William Edgar Perkins.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband, Alex H. Anderson,
Daughters, Sharon Lynne Anderson and
Susan Kay and Mark Senn,
Much beloved grand-daughter, Samantha L. Senn and
A brother, Andrew Jack Perkins.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2003 at 2:00pm at Weatherford Mortuary with Rev. Robert Cantrell, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family requests that any memorials be in the form of contributions to the Youth Choir of the First United Methodist Church, PO Box 4669, Oak Ridge, TN 37831-4669. The family will receive friends on Friday from Noon until 2:00pm at Weatherford Mortuary.
