The funeral services for Mr. Warren who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Eddie Hooker, early Thursday morning, will be held at the Cleveland church Friday at 1 p.m.

Simeon L. Warren was born in Maine, March 8th, 1844, died August 21, 1924, aged 80 years, 5 months, 13 days. Mr. Warren spent his early life in the sawmills of Maine and Canada. In the year 1870 he was united in marriage to Miss Lucinda White, one child was born to this union, Clara May, who died in her early twenties.

In 1873 Mrs. Warren died. Mr. Warren followed farming until 1876 when he came to California living there for three years, coming to the then Territory of Washington in 1879. In 1883 he was married to Miss Jane Noblet, who preceded him in death by eighteen years.

To this union six children were born, namely: Mrs. Belle Cunningham, Paisley, Oregon; Samuel Berry, of Roosevelt Wn.; Joseph Frederick, now deceased; Mrs. Estella Smith, Hornbrook, California, Mrs. Della Hooker and Mrs. Emma Sanders, Bickleton, Wn. He also leaves two brothers, Charles Warren of Cleveland, Ohio and Frederick Warren of Wales, Ontario, Canada and, and one sister, Mrs. Flora Haffy, of Del Monte, Colorado, also 24 grandchildren, one great-grand-child.

He spent the last seven years with his daughter, Mrs. Della Hooker.
