THREE MEN FACE CHARGES HERE OF DYAMITING FISH
Yesterday three men were placed under arrest by Dr. M. Barber, in charge of enforcement of the game conservation laws in Ouachita and adjacent parishes. The men, Steve and R.V. Tidwell and S. McCloud, all residents of the Point community near the S’Arbonne, were charged with dynamiting fish in that stream. They were released under $500 bond each for trial in district court. For hunting squirrel out of season, E.V. Hemperly of 2810 Dick Taylor street and V.A. Ware, of 2810 Dick Taylor street, were placed under arrest and released under $100 bond each yesterday. There is some misunderstanding of the present game laws, states Dr. Barber. He says that the open season for doves has been changed by status to December 01. Formerly the open season started September 01.
