Born Novemfer 29,1916,in Shelby county,she was a daughter of Jacob W. and Ethel Mae(Whitney) Shaffner.
She was a retired schoolbus driver from West Liberty-Salem school district.
She attended the Jenkins Chapel Church and was a 4-H volunteer.
Survivors include her Husband Marion W. Ropp; two daughters,Marcella June Ratcliff and Jean ann Miller,both of Urbana;three sons,Gerald Wesley Ropp of Weat Liberty,James Edward Ropp of Urbana and Virgil Kemper Ropp of Boise,Idaho;19 grandchildren;28 great-grandchildren;three sisters,Fossie Lewis of San antonio,Texas,Matilda(Tilly) Schness od Delaware and Dorothy E.Newhart of Springfield.
She was preceded in death by a Daughter,Linda Lou Miller;and a great-grandson Terry Joe Ratcliff.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m in the Walter-Schoedinger Funeral Home with the Rev.Robert Custer officating.Buirel will follow in Kingscreek Cemetery
