"DEATH: LIFELONG SANTA PAULAN, JOHN LINEBARGER DIES:
Ventura--- JOHN GEORGE LINEBARGER, 85, lifelong resident of Santa Paula, died in a hospital here this morning. LINEBARGER was born May 25, 1877; he was the son of WILLIAM and CECILIA LINEBARGER, pioneer developers of Santa Clara Valley. He lived on the LINEBARGER Ranch on W. Telegraph Road. LINEBARGER is survived by his widow REBECCA; a son, ANDREW JACKSON LINEBARGER, at home; two nephews, GLENN GOOD of Santa Paula and EDWARD BAKER, Los Angeles; a niece, STELLA HARWOOD, Santa Paula; five grandchildren, and one great grandson. The Rev. Elmer H. Henderson and Rev. A.J. Coptriel will officiate at the funeral services Monday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of the H. H. Skillin Mortuary in Santa Paula. Cremation is scheduled at Ivy Lawn Cemetery here; burial will be in the LINEBARGER plot in Santa Paula Cemetery."
