Charles S. Ryle was originally buried in the Sandy Hill Cemetery in Paterson, New Jersey. His remains, along with those of his mother, Sarah (Morfitt) Ryle, and two young siblings, Sarah and Annie Ryle, were removed from Sandy Hill and buried in the Ryle family plot on November 16, 1886.
