Hannibal, MO newspaper:

"Services for Charles Clifford Lane, Sr., 72, New London, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at O'Donnell Funeral Home with the Rev. James O'Connor in charge. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery.
Mr. Lane died Tuesday at a Hannibal hospital. He was born Jun. 12, 1903 at Chillicothe to Aera and Anna Walters Lane. He was married Oct. 8, 1927 to Gertrude Lain, and she survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Harold E. Lane and Rodger Lane both of Hannibal, Charles C. Lane Jr. and Robert J. Lane, both of New London, three daughters, Mrs. Ferol Kaiser of Palmyra, Mrs. Sharon Hedgepeth of Frankford and Mrs. Nancy McKinney of Hannibal; two brothers, Van Lane of St. Charles and Arnold Lane, Chula Vista, Calif., two sisters, Mrs. Leona (sic) Morgan of Chula Vista, Calif., and Mrs. Mamie Arcuri, Hannibal, 32 granchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Active pallbearers will be Leon Lee, Charles Rache, Bill Maple, Ed Caule, Pete Dennison, Robert Bratlett, with four honorary pallbearers, Harold Hedgepeth, Walter McKinney, Howard Kaiser and Kenneth McKinney."
