The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 pm at the Taylor Funeral Home with the Rev. Darryl Craft and the Rev. Joe Anglin officiating. Burial will be in the Gatlin Cemetery. Survivors included his wife, Isabelle Shannon, two sons, James -- and Jack -- a stepson, Hester Smith --, four daughters, Peggy --, Barbara --, Carolyn --, and Judi --, a stepdaughter Edwina --; 11 grandchildren.
