Betty Lou Conder was born to Ruby Alice (Denney) and Jake Rushing on March 21, 1932 in Newport, Oklahoma. She married Charles Clarence on May 6, 1950 in Hollis, Oklahoma and they have made their home in Blanchard for the last 23 years. Betty enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking, and she especially enjoyed her family. She passed away January 1, 2009 at 76 years of age.

Survivors include her husband, Charles, of the home sons, Randy Conder and his wife, Evelyn, of Oklahoma City, Nathan Conder and his wife, Twyla, of Edmond daughter, Rose Clark and her husband, Richard, of Oklahoma City six grandchildren brother, Robert Rushing of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma sisters, Jerry Strasmick of Oklahoma City, Juanita Horne of Oklahoma City, Seannene Smith of Oklahoma City numerous other relatives and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Billy Joe, Jake Jr., Guy, Herbert, Jim, and Michael Rushing.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at the Alex Cemetery, Alex, Oklahoma. Reverend David Pickard will officiate with arrangements made by Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard.
