FROSTBURG,MARYLAND -- Mrs. Jeanetta F. McKenzie, 88, of RD 2, died yesterday at Cuppett-Weeks Nursing Home, Oakland, where she had resided 16 months.

Born in Elkins, she was a daughter of Adam and Barbara Painter, and was the widow of James H. McKenzie. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.

Surviving are eight daughters, Mrs. Fred Wiley, Los Angeles, Cal.; Mrs. Agnes McKenzie, Mrs. Beulah McKenzie, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Leota Wampler, LaVale; Mrs. Jeanetta Yoder, Glen Burnie; Mrs. Mabel Beechie, Vale Summit; Mrs. Imogene Snyder, Export, Pa.; and Mrs. Joy Perkins, Midland; three sons, James McKenzie, Brunswick; Glenn McKenzie, Eckhart, and Edgar McKenzie, Lonaconing; 49 grandchildren, and 63 great-grandchildren.

The body is at the Durst Funeral Home, where friends will be received from 7 until 9 p.m. A Christian wake service will be held there today at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Route 40, Garrett County.
