-- FORT MILL - Mrs. Iva Mae Shaw Nichols 84, of 1632 U.S. 21 Business died April 28, 1995, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia. Funeral is 10 a.m. Monday at Whitesell-Wolfe Funeral Home with the Rev. George Dye officiating. Burial will be in Nichols Family Cemetery in Edgemoor. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Nichols, a native of Kershaw County, was a daughter of the late Edward and Mollie Horton Shaw. She was retired from Springs Industries and the widow of Jesse Nichols. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors are her sons, Verlon Nichols of Harveys Lake, Pa., Lennin Nichols of Rock Hill, Joe Nichols; daughter, Ms. Ruth Wright; sisters, Ms. Eddie Gambrell of Great Falls, Ms. Annie Truesdale of Kershaw; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
The family will be at the home of Joe Nichols, 2681 Holbrook Road.
