Services for five former Mississippians who were killed in a car-transport truck collision near Kinder, La., Friday night, wee held at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Webster County on Monday of last week. Burial was in the church cemetery with Oliver Funeral Home in charge.
The accident victims, all of Humble, Texas, were Mrs. Susie May Holland, 32; her children, Cynthia Dianne Holland, 6, William Curtis Holland, 7, and Thomas Lee Holland, 2, and her brother-in-law, George W. Holland, 38.
Born in Montgomery County, Miss., Mrs. Holland had lived in Humble for several years. She leaves her husband, William Purvis Holland, of Humble, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Watts of Moorhead.
