Funeral services for Frank Hof-
stetter were held Tuesday morn-
ing, December 1 at 9:30 o'clock
at Sacred Heart Church, Lawrence,
Nebraska. Father Edward O'Leary
offered the funeral Mass
and officiated at the burial ser-
vices in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Pallbearers were six nephews;
Ernest Reiman, Walter Witte,
Gerald Kohmetscher, Jim Hof-
stetter, Raymond Schendt and
Irvin Kathman.
Frank Hofstetter, son of Andrew
Hofstetter and Catherine (Boh-
nart) Hofstetter, was born on
April 15, 1897 on the farm near
Lawrence where he spent his en-
tire life. He died at his home
Saturday morning,November 28 at
the age of 67 years, 7 months and
13 days. He had been in poor
health for some time and seriously
ill for several weeks. He married
Emma Brennfoeder on August 14, 1930.
They located on the parental
Hofstetter farm one mile north of
Lawrence, which was his life time
residence.
He is survived, by his wife, Emma;
brothers Albert of Lawrence,
Edward of Bushnell, Nebr., and a
sister, Mrs. Cecilia Reiman of Blue
Hill, also a host of relatives and
friends.
Out-of-town relatives and friends
who attended the funeral included
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Brennfoeder
of Blair, Mr. and Mrs. George
Bohnart of Wood River, Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Schlick of Grand Island,
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hanzlecik of
Fairbury, Ed Hofstetter of
Bushnell, Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Slaby of Red Cloud.
