Marcella Ruth Aulinskis, 90, of 1540 El Camino Drive, Apt. 224, passed away at 4:45 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008, at Pekin Hospital.
Born March 28, 1918, in Pekin to George and Mary (Santschi) Bishop, she married William Aulinskis on June 3, 1945, in Pekin. Bill died Dec. 27, 1995, in Pekin.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews and her close friends, Carmen and Gene McCoy of Pekin.
Marcella worked at Celestial Loan Company (now General Finance) in Pekin for 37 years, retiring as comptroller on April 13, 1973.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Pekin. Marcella was a former member of Celestial City Chapter No. 333 Order of the Eastern Star.
She was an animal lover and an avid reader.
Private entombment will be in Lakeside Mausoleum in Pekin.
