Mary Belle Neeley was a daughter of Rufus P. Neeley. She married first 24 June 1855, in Hardeman Co., TN, James Hardin Unthank, a lawyer who died in 1865, leaving her with two daughters, Lizzie and Sarah. Following her husband's death, she married secondly Robert Logan Walker.

MRS. WALKER IS BURIED AT BOLIVAR
Bolivar Tenn April 29— (Special) — The body of Mrs. Mary Belle Walker arrived here this morning and was carried to the Presbyterian church, where the funeral service was conducted by the Rev. W. G. Cochrane. Mrs Walker was the oldest daughter of the late Gen. R. P. Neely and was 88 years of age. She was twice married. She had two daughters by her first marriage, Mrs. C. A. Muller of Bolivar and Mrs. Walter Calhoun of Canton, Miss., both of whom survive. Her second marriage was to R. L. Walker, one daughter being the result of this union Mrs. Arthur Nolte of New Orleans, who also survives and at whose home Mrs. Walker died, Two sisters Mrs. Collins and Mrs. Coleman and one brother Dr. J. J. Neely of Memphis also survive her.

Mrs. Walker was one of the charter members of the Presbyterian church here which was organized seventy years ago She was a noble Christian woman, a beautiful character. Her body was laid to rest in Polk cemetery
