Hello. I became interested in Ancestry research when my son, who was in 7th grade, had a "tree" project to do. I didn't know the names of my ancestors and I felt bad for him with all the blanks he had to turn in. At that time, I decided to document my family tree. The process is very humbling as I discover all the American pioneers that I am descended from. I have discovered photos of relatives that I would have never seen and it is very exciting. I want to provide others with that same excitement by volunteering to photograph headstones and thereby helping them to create their own family trees. I am also in ah we of old cemeteries and headstones. In my hometown, there is Elmwood Cemetery which has some of the most beautiful stones you have ever seen. So much history.....such beautiful art!
I TAKE THE PHOTOS TO SHARE WITH OTHERS. FEEL FREE TO USE THEM IN YOUR TREE OR ANY WAY THAT YOU WOULD LIKE. YOU HAVE MY PERSMISSION.
