Funeral Held Recently For Elizabeth Boren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Bromley Boren, 84, were held Friday, February 3, in Vernal Fifth Ward Chapel under the direction of Bishop Rondo Sullivan. Prelude and postude music was played by Mable Stagg.

Prayer at the Mortuary was offered by Harold Anderson. Opening song was "Beautiful Ise of Somewhere" was sung by the Singing Mothers of Vernal Fifth Ward. Invocation was by Clinton Nelson and a song "Whispering Hope" was sung by Earl and May Calder.

Speakers were H. LeRoy Morrill of Tridell and Archie Johnson followed by a song "That Wonderful Mother of Mine" by Glade and Elizabeth Sowards. A few remarks were given by Bishop Sullivan and the singing mothers sang the closing song, "Sister, Thou Wast Mild and Loely." All songs were accompanied by Theda Murray. Grant Hacking offered benediction.

Burial was in Maeser Fairview Cemetery with Ray Boren dedicating the grave. Pallbearers were six grandsons of the deceased, Gerald and Alan Trujillo, Richard Karren, Fred and Neldon Noyes and Montey Kelley.

Out of town visitors for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Boren, Ed Boren, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Cook., Manilla; Mr. and Mrs. Boren, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Herring, Wellington; Mrs. Mary Noyes, Mrs. Annie Noyes and family, Fred, Eldon and Ella May, Price; Mrs. Ben Snook, Mrs. Verley Baker and two children, Mr. and Mrs. Montey Kelley, Grand Junction, Colorado; Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Trujillo, Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Bob Robison, Kerns; Mr. amd Mrs. Clinton Nelson and family, Park City, Utah; and Mrs. Belva Assay, Cedar City.

She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Andrew (Eldon) Herring, Wellington, Utah; Mrs. Ben (Ethel) Snook, Fruita, Colorado; Mrs. Eva Trujillo and Mrs. Victor (Stella) Karren, both of Vernal; Mrs. Annie Noyes, Price, Utah, Grand Junction, Colorado.

Also six step-sons and two step-daughters, William C. Boren and Mrs. Jane Searle, Salt Lake City; Isaac Boren, Nessi, Oregon; Roy and Edward, Manilla, Utah and Eliza Workman, Price, Utah. Also 82 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.
