Robert Wesley Babb was born to James Joseph Babb and Mary Louisa Weaver on March 13, 1886. He was born in Texas, probably Comanche County. This is where his parents were married and he was born a year later. By the time he was fourteen, the family had moved to Eastland County. His father was working as a farmer and the family had grown to include three sisters, Minnie, Ruth and Susie the baby. Minnie and Ruth were born in Oklahoma, but Robert and Susie were born in Texas, so the family were moving around a lot.
By 1910, the family was back in Oklahoma and Robert was running the home farm while his father worked for someone else. Robert continued to work as a farmer for the rest of his life.
In 1920, we find Robert in Palo Pinto County, Texas. His mother has passed away and the rest of his family has moved to Houston County, Texas. Robert is married to Konzoda Langley, his 2nd cousin, and together they have two children, Robert Jr and Arthur. Konzoda died having Arthur in 1924.

In 1920, we find Robert in Palo Pinto County, Texas. His mother has passed away and the rest of his family has moved to Houston County, Texas. Robert is married to Konzoda Langley, his 2nd cousin, and together they have two children, Robert Jr and Arthur. Konzoda died having Arthur in 1924.
